Here's how to use the All-Purpose Home Cleaner:

  • The refillable glass spray bottle comes pre-loaded with one All-Purpose Home Cleaner tablet
  • Remove sprayer and add warm water
  • Close bottle and shake gently; wait for the tablet to dissolve. Warm water will dissolve the tablet faster than cold water (do not use very hot or boiling water).
  • Spray your All-Purpose Home Cleaner on any hard surface*
  • Wipe until clean and dry for a streak-free finish
    *Always test any stained/finished surface in an inconspicuous spot

When empty, add 1 All-Purpose Home Cleaner Refill Tablet to the bottle and repeat the steps above. Every refill tablet eliminates the need for one more single-use plastic bottle. Hooray!

If you go a couple of weeks between uses, the soap and water solution may separate. Give the bottle a little shake to mix it up before cleaning.

After adding water, use bottle contents within 6 months.

More Ingredient Information:

Potassium Cocoate and Sodium Cocoate: These are the chemical names of saponified (that is, 'made into soap') coconut oil. It's the chemical that grabs onto both dirt and water to do the cleaning.

Glycerin: This substance is chemically a type of alcohol and is naturally created when the oil is converted into soap. Glycerin is known for skin-softening abilities and is an effective solvent, meaning it can dissolve substances such as stains and dirts.
All glycerin in our products is a natural byproduct of the soap making process. We do not add additional glycerin. As a result, the glycerin is vegan, cruelty-free, and 100% organic coconut oil-derived.

Organic Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil: There is a small amount of coconut oil left in the soap after conversion to potassium cocoate and sodium cocoate. This is because we use potassium hydroxide and sodium hydroxide, both of which are commonly called lye, in the conversion process. Leaving a little excess oil ensures there is no remaining lye in the finished product. Some soapmakers refer to this as "superfatting." The more oil left in the final soap results in a softer, more moisturizing bar. Our cleaning soap recipe has only a small amount of excess oil, which results in a "get the job done" cleaning product instead of a lathery and luxurious finish.

Water: Water is used in the soapmaking process to dissolve lye and ensure the lye can reach all of the oil to fully and safely react. After saponification, the water evaporates from the soap. This takes a few days to several weeks.
The resulting solid soap has very little water, typically less than 5%. This solid form is more shelf-stable than liquid soap, able to last years without a preservative that liquid soaps require (liquid soap is about 60% water).

bambu is pleased to offer Everyday Free Ground Shipping* on orders over $95.00. Orders will ship via FedEx Ground and must ship to a physical address (no PO Boxes). FedEx Ground typically delivers within 3-5 business days. depending on your location. *For Alaska and Hawaii Customers: Shipping via USPS 1st Class to Alaska or Hawaii can take several weeks. If you require faster delivery, we suggest using Priority Mail. Our Everyday Free Ground Shipping offer is not available to customers in Alaska, Hawaii or outside the contiguous US.

Note: Do not select Priority Mail if your order is time sensitive. USPS does not guarantee delivery in the time quoted and is not recommended for urgent orders.

It should be noted that FedEx and USPS may experience unavoidable delays in package delivery due to unforeseen weather conditions or peak volume times.

We are not responsible for delays in the FedEx or USPS delivery networks. While we make every attempt to ship your order in a timely manner, we do not have control over the final delivery date of your package.

Damaged or Missing Items:

Items that have been damaged in transit or found to be missing must be reported within 48 hours of package delivery. Send an email to customercare@bambuhome.com with your name and order number, and include photos of the item and the shipping carton.

Incorrect Shipping Addresses:

Bambu does not assume responsibility for orders with incorrect shipping addresses. If the order is shipped to an incorrect address provided by a customer, the customer is responsible for any additional re-send costs.

Late or Lost Packages:

Sometimes packages get lost, delayed or stolen in transit. We know that can be frustrating, but in most cases, we find that packages do turn up within a few days. If your tracking shows the package has been delivered, please check all areas where a package may have been left. FedEx will usually include a photo of the location your package was delivered to on the tracking page. If your package has not turned up within 2 business days, please reach out to us. We can often assist you with filing a claim with the carrier.
